Great Outdoors and In have been providing a 'Pressure washing cleaning service' since 2002. We provide a pressure washing cleaning service to both domestic and commercial customers in the three counties, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
In recent years, Indian Sandstone is being used more widely in hard landscaping projects. This natural stone is available in an array of choices and looks fantastic once laid.
However, due to the porosity of the Indian sandstone and our climate it does tend to 'weather' rather quickly and develop algae and black spot deposits.
Great Outdoors and In have developed a safe and effective method to remove these unsightly marks from the Indian Sandstone returning the paving to its natural glory.
1. Firstly we 'lightly' Pressure wash the Indian Sandstone - this removes the bulk of the green algae
2. We then apply an industrial chemical designed to remove algae and target the problem blackspots.
3. Once the chemical has been allowed to dwell for a sufficient time, we re-wash the paving (if required we can also use an industrial vacuum to remove standing water away from lawns, etc.)
Please note the chemical we use is designed to remove 'problem' black spots from Indian sandstone; the DIY enthusiast should be aware the majority of patio cleaning chemicals available contain acids these can severely damage Indian sandstone!
